Introduction
It's now 1974 and Westerly were outselling every other yacht business following the success of the Centaur and the W31s so they wanted to introduce a larger 36' range and did so with the Conway family designed by Laurent Giles.
The Conway MkIIs were upgraded and combined versions of the centre cockpit Conway and Solway sisters i.e. both were called Conway MkIIs and were introduced in 1978 with improved layouts and all wood interiors. The Galway and Medway were rebranded as W35s
Sister yachts are Conway, Solway 36, Galway, Medway 36, and the W35
