Introduction
Sales figures were beginning to drop for the Oceanmaster so it was rebranded and improved becoming the seven inch longer Ocean 490 at the 1993 London Boat Show with 4 different internal design options. This however this was the only 490 made and the rest of the models were branded as Ocean 49s
