Introduction
Built as an upgrade/remodelling of the extremely successful and popular Centaur, this was the first design by Ed Dubois for Westerly. Despite being bigger below decks, easier to handle and had an all wood interior, the popularity of the Centaur was such that initial uptake was slow. However within 2 years 329 had been built.
The Griffon Family of boats included Griffon II, Griffon Club, Spirit, and the Regatta 260
