Introduction

Introduced in 1989 and in reality a modified version of the successful Corsair 36 design and hull. A "sugar-scoop" was added to compete with current designs of the late 80's. The same rig was kept and although 2 foot longer than the Corsairs there was no increase in waterline length. A lot of these boats had minor interior design changes when commissioned.

A very comfortable long distance cruising yacht, fast, dry and easily handled by two people. The Oceanranger was still in production when Westerly finally ceased trading in 2000.
