Introduction
One of the original designs from the founder of the Westerly company, Commander Denys Rayner. These designs became the core for the rest of the company's yachts and laid the foundation for all that is/was good about the Westerly build. The Nomad was the last of the Rayner designs being introduced in 1967 with all the improvements ideas and modifications together with the experience gained from the other designs. The Nomad was one of the first westerly models to be given a name, all the previous designs were given the notation Westerly22 or Westerly25 etc., etc.
