Westerly Yachts
Westerly Marine Construction Ltd was founded in the Early 60's by Commander Denys Rayner. For many years the company was the largest producer of yachts in the United kingdom until it's eventual demise in 1994?
The yachts were constructed at Waterlooville near Portsmouth on the Solent under the supervision of Lloyds. They are well known for their strength of build.
Westerly used the best designers of the day including Jack Laurent Giles, Ed Dubois, Ian Proctor and Stephen Jones.
